My deepest sympathy to the family. I saw the Brian Jack band countless times back in the 90's and enjoyed every show that I went to. Always entertaining and always a great show. One of the best musicians to EVER come out of Charm City. Brian, you will be missed by so many. May you rest in peace and much love.

I remember the first time I heard Brian from across a packed club in Ocean City over 20 years ago and I thought "I have to get closer to see who this is"... and to find out that the face was just as easy on the eyes as the music to the ears was a double blessing!

I like many found Brian to be one of the nicest and most genuine people. I often traveled with girlfriends to hear him play at various places throughout the years.

I moved south 10 years ago and had not seen Brian since. I recently moved back to the eastern shore and was really looking forward to seeing and hearing him again. I know that will still happen... see you heaven, "Blue Jeans"! Until then, you will be missed.

Reflecting on the past couple of days memories of Brian come back. 1st time we met, he was DJ at the “No Name Cafe” in Fells Point. I was more than aware of Child’s Play…their following….the HammerJacks gigs ect.We sat, talked and he was telling me about prepping for the studio for their debut album.I remember being in awe hearing the passion and excitement about what was to come as all the hard work the band they had put in finally paid off! Kept watching their progress and when heard Rat Race was blown away!! MTV video split my head!! Fast forward to the the 00’s.We opened for them at ThunderDome and we saw each other again for the 1st time in years. Was so cool and here the same guy I had talked to years prior, I was sharing the same stage with!! As schedules go, we played, they played, exchanged numbers and vowed to keep in touch…..regretfully, never did………. Then….2011opened for them at the Reicher for the Hammer Jacks reunion. We ran into each other on the ramp to the stage as we were loading in...each busy..said we would hook up after the show and shoot the s**t....... but as it happens at gigs, time escapes, load equipment and assume we “catch up later”…..Will trully miss ya bro...if only more time!! “Don't be dismayed at goodbyes. A farewell is necessary before you can meet again. And meeting again, after moments or lifetime, is certain for those who are friends.” ~Richard Bach

It saddens me to know....that our little town of Baltimore has lost such an amazing person....in sooo many ways. A talented, genuine and kind soul....that I know we will ALL still speak fondly of for years and years to come. You will truly be missed Brian Jack!

Keep rockin' in the afterlife....and know that while you were here...you were loved...and are now missed as you are now gone...
